Evil Inc Shareholders’ Report: Hailey Has Entered the Chat
This week: Dr. Muskiday is doomed, Hailey is trending, and Fairmount City is about to learn the true cost of validation.
Things are getting delightfully dangerous in Evil Inc this week.
Dr. Muskiday has finally been captured by the macronanos — those sentient emotion-clouds that have evolved from his original micronano technology into something much more powerful, much more dangerous, and much, much pinker.
Oh, and don’t think for a minute that we’re not coming back this this plot point...
Meanwhile, Hailey — still reeling from the collapse of her brief social-media stardom — has made the questionable life choice of turning to Termax the Untamed for advice.
For those keeping score at home, Termax is not exactly the kind of demon who hands out sensible career guidance. Next week? Hailey re-emerges as a full-fledged foe with all of Fairmount City at her feet.

Coming up next, we revisit the Lethal Librarian. After seeing how well Lightning Lady and Angus are doing together, she uses her powers to brew up her own monster romance — with a little inspiration from the works of Finley Fenn.

From the Sketchbook: Mermaid Edition
When Dave and I were brainstorming punchlines for the mermaid section of his forthcoming book, “Anatomy of Monsters,” I wrote a delightfully dark line that wasn’t quite a fit for his project.
Which, naturally, means it may be a perfect fit for me.
I’m not sure whether this one becomes a bonus cartoon, a Patreon sketchbook post, or the sort of thing that gets quietly filed under “Brad, maybe don’t explain this at dinner.”
But it made me laugh. And that’s usually where the trouble starts.
